My name is Philip Blue, and I started this journey in September 2023 as Rock Creek Handyman with just $590 in my pocket, a truck, and a simple goal: help people the way I’d want my own wife and three kids treated. Clear communication. No surprises on pricing. Showing up when we say we will. Taking pride in every detail and leaving the job site cleaner than we found it.
What began as a small handyman service has grown into a full-service general contracting and remodeling company. By early 2026, we proudly hit $1 million in revenue—all while staying small enough to know every client by name and keep that neighbor-to-neighbor feel. We’ve completed everything from full kitchen and bathroom remodels to custom built-ins, drywall repairs, garage conversions, exterior siding/window work, and even seamless water damage restorations.
Before Rock Creek, I spent over 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry, building expertise in engineering, project management, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating complex jobs with multiple trades. That structured mindset is what sets us apart, even on a family home remodel
We run things with timelines, clear scopes, and no loose ends. But we pair that professionalism with the heart of a local family business. No corporate overhead, no pushy sales—just honest work from people who live and raise kids right here in Cypress.
Our three children are part of the story too. They’re growing up watching (and sometimes helping) with real construction tasks, learning that hard work, attention to detail, and pride in what you build are values that last. It’s rewarding to see them pick up skills with their hands, just like I did coming up.
